Snowy Range Taxi Offering Free Rides

Snowy Range Taxi is offering free rides to the Laramie community on New Year's Eve.

The company, now in their ninth year of operations in Laramie, has previously run specials on the last night of the year, but this year they say rides will be totally free in the Laramie area to ensure everyone gets home safe.

Free rides begin at 6 p.m. on Dec. 31 and continue until 6 a.m. on Jan. 1. Taxies will be available by phone or classic street hail.

Drivers will still be accepting tips, though the company says they are not expected.

The company does expect wait times to be high around midnight and 2 A.M. when bars are closing.
