I've got a good one for you. The National Weather Service has just declared that our Wyoming winter is likely to be warmer this year. I'll wait until you're able to control your laughter.

Other roads in the park will remain open until Nov. 4, weather permitting.

The National Park Service closed the highway on the Wyoming side of the border Wednesday morning.

Friday night the snow was flying at Arapahoe Basin ski area in the Rocky Mountains. Representatives from the ski area said it was the earliest they've turned on the snow guns in the last 10 years.

If you remember the big storm that went through Casper a few weeks ago, you may also recall there was a lot of lightning in that storm. One Casper guy caught an epic photo of a huge lightning bolt over downtown.

It was a stormy day in eastern Wyoming with some chasers capturing video of several twisters.

At 11 a.m. EDT Thursday, Dorian was centered about 50 miles southeast of Charleston, moving north at 8 mph.
