Wyoming High School Volleyball Final Rankings 2017

The coaches/media rankings no longer matter, because teams will decide where they stand going into the state tournament, and where they stand when it's over.

There was very little movement in the final 4A rankings. Same teams, with a little bit different order. #1 Laramie and #2 Kelly Walsh have the top seeds heading into their respective regional tournaments. The East tournament could be more challenging because more ranked teams are at that one. This includes #3 Cheyenne East, #4 Campbell County and #5 Thunder Basin.

The final 3A rankings didn't change much from last week either. Rawlins, Douglas and Lyman hold steady at #1, #2 and #3. Star Valley and Cody switch spots again at #4 and #5, with the Lady Braves holding the higher spot.

Like 4A, 4 of the top 5 ranked teams in 2A will be at the same regional tournament. #1 Sundance is the host. They will be joined by #2 Wright, and co-#4's Southeast and Pine Bluffs. #3 Big Piney is the only ranked team at the west regional tournament.

It's a similar story in 1A. #1 Cokeville, #2 Little Snake River, #3 Encampment and #5 Farson-Eden will all compete at the West Regional Tournament. While #5 Lingle-Ft. Laramie will play at the East Regional Tournament.
