The coaches/media rankings don't determine seeding for playoffs, but it can add some fuel to the fire, for those teams still chasing a specific playoff spot.

There's no change in the new 4A rankings, but there's plenty on the line as teams are still jockeying for seeds. Natrona, Thunder Basin and Cheyenne East, maybe #1, #2 and #3, but if they all win, the coins will decide which team is what seed in the bracket. East may have the toughest challenge, hosting #4 Sheridan, who would swipe #3 away with a win. #5 Laramie is locked into their spot, so this weekend's game at TB doesn't mean anything, as far as the playoffs go.

The top 2 seed in the 3A East and West are set, it's just a matter figuring out the rest. The only thing on the line between #1 Torrington at unranked Rawlins is the TrailBlazers undefeated record. #2 Star Valley and #3 Jackson have their spots set, and both will be keeping an eye on the Worland at Lander game, to find out which team is playing which team next week. #4 Cody does not have a playoff berth locked down yet, but they can take care of that this weekend. #5 Evanston is hoping for a better spot if they can surprise SV.

Almost everything is set in the 2A East, while a lot still needs to be decided in the West. #1 Buffalo, #3 Glenrock and #4 Wheatland all have tune-up games this weekend for the playoffs. Most of the attention this weekend will be focused on #2 Mountain View at #5 Greybull. The top 2 seeds in the west are on the line.

There's no change in the new 1A rankings, and everything is set for the playoffs. #1 Big Horn has secured the East #1 seed, while #2 Cokeville has to get past unranked Wind River, or else the Cougars will take the West top seed. #3 Upton-Sundance has the #2 East seed, and is taking the weekend off to prepare. Elsewhere, #4 Pine Bluffs and #5 Wright each have home games to lock down the last 2 seeds in the East.

All of the attention in 6-Man is in the East this weekend, because all of the West seeds are locked up. #1 Farson-Eden, #3 Meeteetse, #4 Little Snake River and #5 Burlington have nothing to play for, except momentum for next week. Even though the Huskies lost last week, they gave the Pronghorns everything they could handle, and that impressed the voters enough, to put them back in the top 5. On the East side, #2 H.E.M. has home edge in their big game vs. unranked Guernsey-Sunrise, in their effort to lock up the East #1 seed.
