Helicopter Over Laramie Raises Questions Among Residents

A military helicopter over Laramie last (Tuesday) night sparked some concern and raised questions among Laramie residents.

The helicopter was seen on the north end of town, by the old Deti Stadium, which now serves as the Laramie Athletic Field. The chopper also flew near the downtown area and among the east and west ends of town.

There's a surprisingly simple explanation for the aircraft hovering over Laramie: the Wyoming Army National Guard was doing some training exercises. The Army National Guard did not indicate that there were further exercises scheduled in the near future.
