The Albany County Sheriff's office released this video of an Airlife response to Snowy Range Ski Area Thursday, Feb. 25.

The Sheriff's office is releasing very few details about the incident due to the nature of the patient.

The Sheriff's office says deputies responded with the Laramie Fire Department and the Centennial Valley Volunteer Fire Department for a report of an injury at the ski area.

The ski patrol immediately began treating the injured skier, who was quickly taken by helicopter for further medical attention. The destination facility has not been disclosed.

Aaron Maddox of Snowy Range Ski Area says the injury occurred at about 2 p.m. Maddox says the ski area sees several responses of this type for ski injuries each year.
