It’s Senior Night and the home opener rolled into one, as the Laramie Plainsmen host Campbell County Friday night at Deti Stadium.

Both teams are coming off a loss in week zero. Kick-off for the Plainsmen and Camels is at 6 p.m.

The Senior Night recognition of the 19 members of this year’s senior class will be before the game at 5:15 p.m.

KOWB’s David Settle caught up with two of the Laramie seniors, Alex Ingle and Braiden DeBree. They talked about being seniors, what it means to be part of this team, looked ahead to the game, the recognition ceremony, and a little more in the video above.

Laramie (0-1) comes off a loss at No. 1 ranked Sheridan, 42-10.

Campbell County (0-1) is in the same position after a 35-6 loss at home to Rock Springs.

From a statistical comparison, the Camels out-gained the Plainsmen by just under 100 total yards on offense. Their defense allowed 130 fewer yards.

Laramie head coach Clint Reed visited KOWB’s David Settle and reflected on bouncing back from a disappointing start, adjustments in practice, preparing for Campbell County, the 2020 Laramie High senior class, and what he’s looking for from his squad.

Key players for the Camels include QB Kaden Race (12), running back/linebacker Will Miller (29), and receiver/DB Hunter Kramer (27).

Laramie is looking for more from its playmakers, Isaac Sell (23) and Colter Nunn (25), as well as its big offensive and defensive line.

Friday will be the 43rd meeting between Laramie and Campbell County. The Camels have a 22-20 lead in the series.

The game starts at 6 p.m.
