Wyoming Legion Baseball Scoreboard: July 20-26, 2020
Only teams at the Class ‘AA’ level have regular-season games remaining in the 2020 Wyoming Department of American Legion Baseball season.
There are only two weeks left, which means several conference games are ahead. Some teams have about half their league slate complete, while others have just a couple. There are a few non-conference games that still on the schedule.
With Class ’A’ teams at the District Tournaments later this week, this scoreboard seems like week one, a little on the light side.
Monday, July 20:

Tuesday, July 21:
Final Score: Cheyenne 14 Sheridan 4 – conference game - Sixers explode for 10 runs in the 4th inning. Vite & Costopolous hit HRs in the big frame.
Sheridan at Cheyenne – conference game - the game was canceled due to weather; it will only be made up if needed to decide seedings at the state tournament, otherwise, it will not be played.
Wednesday, July 22:
Final Score: Gillette 6 Cheyenne 5 – conference game - a 3-run 6th propels the Riders to the victory.
Final Score: Gillette 4 Cheyenne 1 – conference game - Race CG on the mound with 14 strikeouts. Race also had a walk, 2 stolen bases and a run scored at the plate.
Final Score: Laramie 3 Sheridan 2 – conference game - Morris with the GW, walk-off, 2-run 2B for the Rangers. Chamberlain with a solo HR for Laramie.
Final Score: Laramie 7 Sheridan 1 – conference game - Eaton & Chavez with 2 hits & 2 RBI's apiece.
Final Score: Evanston 16 Rock Springs 3 – conference game - Fisher with 4 hits & 3 RBI's for the Outlaws
Final Score: Evanston 12 Rock Springs 9 – conference game - Allred 3 hits & 2 RBI's; Moyles hits a HR.

Final Score: Gillette 11 Sheridan 1 – conference game - Lewis 3 hits & 5 RBI's for the Riders.
Final Score: Gillette 10 Sheridan 0 – conference game - Fink tosses a 2-hit shutout for Gillette. Race & Lewis with 2 hits & 2 RBI's each.
Saturday, July 25:
Final Score: Jackson 4 Rock Springs 0 – conference game - a 3-run 6th helps the Giants to the victory.
Final Score: Jackson 9 Rock Springs 5 – conference game - Bruno & Moya 3 hits and 3 RBI's.
Final Score: Cheyenne 13 Laramie 2 – conference game - Sixers open it up with a 9-run 5th inning.
Final Score: Cheyenne 7 Laramie 0 – conference game - Lobmeyer tosses a 4-hit shutout.
Final Score: Evanston 6 Casper 5 – conference game - Leading 6-2, Outlaws hold off the Oiler comeback attempt. Peterson with 2 hits & 1 RBI for Evanston.
Final Score: Evanston 8 Casper 7 – conference game - Outlaws rally from down 7-2 with 5 runs in the 6th and win it with a run in the 7th on a throwing error.
