New York Giants Find Inventive Way to Stop St. Louis Rams’ Offense
On Monday night, the St. Louis Rams no-huddle offense was marching up and down the field on the New York Giants defense. The Giants could do nothing to stop it, so, they decided to slow it down a little using a popular soccer tactic; the fake flop.
Giants cornerback Deon Grant brought the Rams offense to a screeching halt by dropping to the turf with an “injury.” Grant isn’t the only player mysteriously bitten by the injury bug. Watch in the background as Giants linebacker Jacquian Williams also falls to the ground while surrounded by his own teammates. No injuries were reported for either player. Must have been something in the pregame meal.
Watch Deon Grant stop, drop and roll.
