Nazi Flag Found at Laramie’s Washington Park

A Nazi flag was flown in Laramie on Monday (July 30) morning at Washington Park.

Following a call around 11 a.m. with a report of a Nazi flag raised on one of the park's flagpoles, Detective Ryan Gerdes and Officer Logan Warren lowered the flag and replaced it with the American flag that usually occupies the pole.

Although there are no charges to be filed, as no evidence of vandalism was found at the scene, Lieutenant Gwen Smith said that "The Laramie Police Department is very interested in finding out who did this and closing the case."
