The first six points of the match ended up being the best part for the Laramie High School volleyball team at Cheyenne Central High School on Saturday. The Lady Plainsmen dropped to 1-5 in 4A East Conference play and 12-12 overall with a straight set loss to the Lady Indians 21-25, 18-25, 20-25.

Senior Jamie Rhodine started the match on a six point serving run, but that would be the largest lead LHS would entertain against Central. Madison Legerski had 6 kills and 14 digs while Lily Gabriel had 7 kills and Jamie Rhodine put up 16 assists.

"We're going to continue to work on swinging away and covering, that was a trouble spot today," said Head Coach Trisha Witkop. "Also serving aggressively and just playing all out on every ball."

The Lady Plainsmen will make a trip up north this weekend to play Gillette and Sheridan before wrapping up the regular season next weekend against South and Rock Springs.
