Laramie Volleyball Loses to Central

The Lady Plainsmen volleyball team fell to 0-3 in 4A East conference play after losing to Cheyenne Central 28-26, 22-25, 25-14, 25-21 on Tuesday night at Laramie High School. LHS was playing without junior middle blocker Emma Murphy, who was in a car accident Tuesday morning.

"It was difficult to play without Emma," said Head Coach Trisha Witkop after the match. "But I thought the girls did a great job of stepping in. We talked to each other and I thought the rotation went as well as it could have gone."

Laramie (0-3, 8-7) will continue conference play on Thursday night at Cheyenne South High School. KOWB will have a live internet stream of the game available through Network 1 Sports.

"We're definitely looking at going in at being able to work on some stuff and work on our chemistry," said Coach Witkop. "Hopefully we'll come out with a win."
