The Green Bay Packers Are America’s Favorite Football Team — Survey of the Day

We won’t know for almost a month if the Green Bay Packers’ 15-1 season ends with a second straight Super Bowl win, but the team’s continued success has certainly helped it snag the title of America’s most popular football team.

According to a recent poll from PPP, 22 percent of people named the Packers as their favorite football team. The Dallas Cowboys, long known as ‘America’s Team,’ took second place with 11 percent of the vote, followed by the Chicago Bears, New York Giants and Pittsburgh Steelers, who all tied for third most popular with eight percent.

The Cowboys, who have traditionally been the most popular team in these type of polls, did finish first in one category. Twenty-two percent of fans singled Dallas out as their least favorite team, doubling the percentage of the second least liked Chicago Bears.
