Five teams occupy the top spot across the four classes of the latest WyoPreps.com Coaches and Media Boys Basketball Poll.

There is a new top-ranked team thanks to a tie in Class 2A. The other three classes keep the same team atop the poll.

The Sundance Bulldogs join the Rocky Mountain Grizzlies as co-No. 1’s in this week’s rankings. The Bulldogs received six first-place votes to four for the Grizzlies, but second and third place votes create the tie. Big Piney and Big Horn both move up one spot to third and fourth. After a pair of losses last weekend, Tongue River stays in the top five but falls to fifth.

Despite a loss last Saturday, Worland maintains its ranking of first in Class 3A. The Warriors received 13 first-place votes. Rawlins, who pulled off the upset, climbs two positions to second. Powell and Lander both fall one spot to third and fourth. Buffalo holds onto the No. 5 spot.

Sheridan’s grip on first in Class 4A gets stronger, as the Broncs receive all but one first-place vote. Thunder Basin earned the other and holds in second. The lone change in the big-school division has Cheyenne Central and Cheyenne East trading spots. The Indians move to third, while the Thunderbirds drop to fourth. Campbell County stays in fifth.

The top four remain in their position in Class 1A. Encampment is first with seven of the 11 first-place votes. Upton is second followed by Farson-Eden and Saratoga. Southeast moves back into the No. 5 spots, which pushes Cokeville out of the poll.
