University of Wyoming Associate Professor Selected For Theater Grants Review Board

A University of Wyoming Associate Professor has been selected to serve on the National Endowment for the Arts Theater and Musical Theater grants review board in Washington, D.C.

Cecilia Aragon is the UW Latina/o Studies Program director and associate professor in the UW Department of Theatre and Dance.

Douglas Sonntag, NEA Performing Arts director, appointed Aragon to the grants review board. Panelists are highly recommended by their peers and viewed as experts in the field.

Aragon currently serves as the theatre education and Theatre for Young Audiences coordinator in the UW Department of Theatre and Dance. Her areas of research are Latina/o theatre, indigenous performances in the Americas and Theatre for Young Audiences.
