Only one new team entered the latest WyoPreps Coaches and Media Boys Basketball on Wednesday.

There is shuffling in all four classes, but overall, not much movement.

The one change is in Class 1A. The top three are still Upton, Dubois, and Saratoga. The Bobcats received all 15 first-place votes. The Rams earned all 15 second-place votes. The Panthers got 14 of the 15 votes for third. Little Snake River moved up to fourth. The revolving door at No. 5 has Farson-Eden back in the rankings in that spot.

The top two are the same in 2A. Pine Bluffs remained at the top with 12 of the 14 first-place votes. Tongue River held in second. Wind River moved up two spots to third. Rocky Mountain and Wyoming fell a spot to fourth and fifth. The poll closed before the outcome of Tuesday’s game between the Cougars and Chiefs.

In 4A, Thunder Basin is a unanimous pick for No. 1. The Bolts earned all 16 first-place votes. Kelly Walsh and Cheyenne East traded spots. The Trojans are second, while the Thunderbirds dropped to third. Sheridan and Cheyenne Central held in fourth and fifth, respectively.

Finally, in 3A, there was one minor change. Douglas, Worland, and Rawlins are first, second, and third. The Bearcats hold No. 1 with 12 of the 16 first-place votes. The Warriors received the other four first-place votes. The Outlaws got all of the third-place votes. The only change is that Buffalo and Lyman are tied for fourth in this week’s poll.
