Delays by the U.S. Postal Service are usually frowned upon this time of year. One delay however, is being encouraged by Wyoming Governor Matt Mead.

The U.S. Postal Service is still considering moving mail processing operations for Rawlins to Cheyenne. The Postal Service announced Tuesday that it would postpone post office closures or changes from April to May.

Proposed cuts to services from the US Postal Service will save the cash-strapped organization some much-needed funds, but the public may not like the outcome.
