Saturday Is Public Appreciation Day For Laramie Fire Department

Looking for something fun and entertaining to do tomorrow afternoon? Tomorrow from 12pm-5pm is the Laramie Fire Department's Public Appreciation Day! If you have ever wanted a better understanding of the services provided by fire fighters then stop by the LFD drill grounds for an afternoon of fun. Demonstrations will be conducted every hour on a

number of different scenarios firefighters encounter on the job. Demonstrations will be on hazmat, vehicle extrication, ladder rescue, ambulance operations and a live fire evolution!

The LFD drill grounds are located at 2451 County Shop road. The event begins at 12pm and will

continue through 5pm. The LFD will provide refreshments and other fun activities will be provided for children. For more information call 721-5332.
