Noise Pollution-Ask the City

The University of Wyoming's Central Energy Plant has an exhaust pipe that sounds much like a 737 on a runway, are there any regulations of of this type of noise pollution at all hours of the night?

Answer:

"You may refer to the City of Laramie Municipal Code 8.40 to review its content. Specifically, section 8.40.030 (Permissible Noise Levels) addresses specific zones and their permissible db(A) levels during certain time periods. To date, the city has not received any similar complaints on the UW Central Energy Plant exhaust pipe noise emission levels."
