LPD Seeks Community Help in Finding Missing Children [UPDATED]

UPDATE: Both children have been found

The Laramie Police Department Facebook page has made two posts about missing children in the Laramie area.

The first post detailed a young girl seen wandering the sidewalk at 30th Street between Willett and Reynolds. Several concerned Laramie residents had already called the police department for a welfare check on the young girl. According to the LPD's post, the girl is described as "approximately 5 years old, with red hair, a purple jacket and carrying a lunch box." There have been no sightings of the girl since 2:30 p.m.

The second post featured a juvenile male that "took off from LaBonte Park." The post also includes a photo of the individual, who is wearing a black t-shirt with a design on the front. He is said to be wearing the same clothes underneath a red tracksuit.

If you have any information about either of these cases, please call Non Emergency Dispatch at 307-721-2526.
