Former Albany County Attorney Faces Arraignment

LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) — Former Albany County attorney Richard Bohling faces arraignment Wednesday in district court in Laramie on felony charges that he took cameras and other county property.

According to the Albany County District Clerk's Office, Bohling is set to appear before Judge John R. Perry on Wednesday morning.

Perry, whose offices are in Gillette, will preside over the hearing by use of a video monitor.

The Wyoming Attorney General's Office is prosecuting Bohling on charges that he obtained property by false pretenses.

An investigator with the Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation has filed a report in court alleging that Bohling used public money while serving as county attorney to pay for cameras and computer equipment.

Bohling didn't seek re-election last year. He was first elected county attorney in 2002.
