The Albany County Community Juvenile Services Board is seeking applicants for their advisory committee for a two-year term that will begin May 27, 2017.

Maria Consuelos, Albany County and Prosecuting Attorney’s Office victim witness coordinator, said the CJSB is a team that was formed to assess the way the community is working with juveniles and to improve all services in the county related to juveniles.

“Anyone with knowledge and experience in working with children and young adults is encouraged to apply,” Consuelos said.

Members serving on the board will be tasked with reviewing current juvenile services, developing a community-wide juvenile services strategic plan and identifying, developing, implementing and enhancing services for at-risk youth in Albany County.

Interested applicants will need to submit their completed forms to Consuelos by Friday, April 21.
