Wyoming Sheriff: Obscene Caller Telling Bogus Molestation Story
Sweetwater County Sheriff Mike Lowell has issued a press release about someone calling up businesses and claiming to have been sexually molested by a female law enforcement officer.
The sheriff said Wednesday the caller contacts a business and asks the secretary or receptionist to help him find a lawyer. He then recounts a story about being arrested when he was a teenager and sexually molested by a female officer.
The caller describes the supposed encounter in graphic detail and asks the receptionist to repeat the details back to him. “This creep’s objective is to hear a woman describe the phony assault,” the sheriff said. “That’s what he’s after.”
The sheriff recommends that anyone receiving such a call should note the number, hang up, and notify authorities.
