Even by Wyoming's standards, the past day has been windy. Really windy. The National Weather Service just shared that they've registered a near record wind gust.

This was shared by the National Weather Service in Riverton today.

The Clark monitor regularly registers higher wind speeds than the rest of the state, but 114 mph nearly matches the record of 122 mph for this date back in 2011. Even by our normally windy Wyoming standards, that's moving. Wow.

In Casper, Outer Drive registered a high wind of 62 mph which is also pretty dang impressive.
