It's not exactly breaking news that Wyoming had a ton of lightning thanks to storms this week. That was especially true for the area around Clark that ended up with quite the lightning show in their skies.

Tim Kirkland recently shared this video on YouTube which shows an avalanche of almost continuous lightning. According to Tim's video, this was Monday night, July 22 that this lightning happened.

The video begins at dusk and ends with complete darkness (except for the lightning). Guessing that Tim did sort of a time-lapse video thing to capture such amazing storm footage.

As you might imagine, watching the real time lightning map Monday night was a real hoot as the area north of Cody near Clark was lit up like a Christmas tree. Crazy stuff.

Thanks to Tim for the video share. Our skies in Wyoming are never boring.
