The last games of the Double-A Wyoming Legion Baseball season are being played this week.

There are still a few key conference games remaining that will impact the seeding at next week’s state tournament in Sheridan.

MONDAY, JULY 18:

Final Score: Sheridan Troopers 8 Rock Springs 1 (conference game) - the Troopers scored 3 in the 1st inning to take the lead for good. Kilpatrick had 3 hits & 2 RBIs for Sheridan.

Final Score: Sheridan Troopers 16 Rock Springs 0 (conference game) - Killian tossed a perfect game! He had 6 strikeouts over 5 innings and threw just 52 pitches. Stowe had 2 hits (HR, 2B) & 4 RBIs. Kilpatrick added 2 hits & 3 RBIs. Sheridan finished the game with 9 runs in the 4th.

TUESDAY, JULY 19:

Final Score: Cheyenne Sixers 4 Gillette 3 (conference game) - Sixers jumped out to a 4-0 lead and held off the Riders' comeback. McAnelly with a 2-run double. Haught had a 2-run single.

Final Score: Cheyenne Sixers 9 Gillette 1 (conference game) - McAnelly allows 1 run on 1 hit with 17Ks on 89 pitches. Cheyenne scored 6 runs in the 1st inning and never trailed. Tafoya had 2 hits (HR) & 4 RBIs. Sixers also took advantage of 11 walks.

Final Score: Laramie 17 Jackson 5 (conference game) - Laramie pulled away with 8 runs in the 3rd. Ruckman hits for the cycle and had 6 RBIs. Jenkin added 2 hits & 3 RBIs.

Final Score: Laramie 16 Jackson 5 (conference game) - Rangers rally from an early 3-0 deficit. They scored 6 in the 3rd to take the lead and added 8 runs in the 4th. Chavez had 3 hits & 4 RBIs. Medina added 2 hits & 3 RBIs.

WEDNESDAY, JULY 20:

Final Score: Cheyenne Sixers 8 Jackson 2 (conference game) - The Sixers jumped out to a 6-0 lead and went on to the win. Swaen had 2 hits & 1 RBI. Lopez added 2 RBIs, while Hastings had 2 doubles.

Final Score: Cheyenne Sixers 12 Jackson 2 (conference game) - The Sixers scored 3 in the 3rd and 4 runs in both the 4th & 5th innings. Hastings had a double & 3 RBIs. Feezer added a 2-run triple.

THURSDAY, JULY 21:

Final Score: PCH Baseball (Ogden, UT) 13 Evanston 12 (9-inn. game) - PCH took an 8-2 lead early. The Outlaws rallied and tied it at 12-12 in the 7th. PCH scored 1 in the 8th and held off Evanston. Osborn had 2 hits & 4 RBIs.
