The top 5 coaches/media rankings in 2 of the 4 classes saw a shake-up ahead of Valentine's Day.

There's a new #1 in 4A. Cheyenne East is the unanimous #1, after thumping former #1, now unanimous #2 Thunder Basin last weekend. Star Valley has been on a roll since losing to TB 1 month ago. The Lady Braves have won 8 straight since, and move ahead of Cheyenne Central for the #3 ranking, thus bumping the Lady Indians to #4. Kelly Walsh holds steady at #5.

It's still Douglas' world in 3A, but the shake-up happened with the teams ranked beneath the Lady Bearcats. It's centered around Rawlins' win vs. Buffalo last week. As a result, Lyman moves up #2, the Lady Outlaws to #3 and the Lady Bison drop to #4. That leaves Mountain View at #5.

There's no change in the new 2A rankings, and that might have a few people asking why that is. Wyoming Indian is the unanimous #1, and there's not much debate there for now. Despite losing vs. unranked Southeast last week, Pine Bluffs is still #2, but #3 Wright has closed the gap on them. The Lady Panthers close the regular season with a big game at #5 Big Horn. After that game, the Lady Rams pay a visit to #4 Greybull on Saturday.

Like 2A, this is the last week of the regular season for 1A teams. A #1 vs. #2 battle closes out the regular season when Cokeville visits Farson-Eden on Friday. The Lady Panthers have 1 more game after that, when they host #5 Little Snake River on Saturday. St. Stephens is still ranked #3 and Rock River moves back up to #4 this week.
