Two new teams are in their respective top 5 of the latest coaches/media rankings, and they are 2 teams that haven't been ranked in quite sometime.

Nothing has changed in the latest 4A rankings. Sheridan and Natrona are the unanimous #1 and #2, followed by Cheyenne East at #3, Kelly Walsh at #4 and Rock Springs at #5. All 5 teams play unranked opponents this week. Next week is rivalry week for most teams, so they should be careful not to get caught looking ahead.

Of the 11 undefeated remaining in all of football, 4 of them reside in Class 3A, and there will be at least 1 less after this week. Star Valley and Green River remain as the unanimous #1 and #2. The Braves visit unranked Cody this week, and the Broncs will be motivated by 2 things. The first is that they gave GR a run for their money last week, and the second is that SV has won in each of their last 10 visits to Cody. The Broncs haven't won a home game vs. the Braves since the 1991 state championship. The bigger game in 3A this week is undefeated #3 Douglas at undefeated and new #5 Rawlins. The Outlaws haven't been undefeated since they last won it all back in 2000, and they haven't beaten the Bearcats since 2001 (lost 17 straight). Meanwhile #4 Torrington will host a former unbeaten Buffalo team, that's looking to put the pieces back together after last week.

The top 4 in 2A are unchanged from last week. Glenrock remains #1, Mountain View is #2, Big Piney is #3 and Greybull is #4. It's test time for unranked Pinedale, because their next 2 games are against MV and BP. Moorcroft is in at #5. The Wolves haven't been ranked in long time, and make a long road trip to Thermopolis this week.

There's no change in either the 1A 11-man or 1A 6-Man rankings this week. Cokeville is still on top of the 1A 11-man rankings, followed by Pine Bluffs, Upton-Sundance, Big Horn and Southeast. There's one ranked matchups this week, putting U-S at SE. The Cyclones had last week off, to get ready for this game.

The 6-Man rankings continue to be Kaycee as the unanimous #1, followed by Farson-Eden, Little Snake River, Burlington and Midwest. Barring an upset vs. an unranked opponents, the rankings should stay the same going into next week.
