Coaches and media voters took notice on what happened in Class 4A last week, since it was the only Class where games counted.

Three teams delivered a shut-out performance last week, thus the are the top 3 teams in the new rankings. Sheridan and Natrona are the unanimous #1 and #2. Cheyenne East moves up to #3 after setting school records for most points scored in a game, and largest margin of victory. Thunder Basin was victorious in their first game in school history, but because it was a close score, the voters dropped the Bolts from #3 to #4. Kelly Walsh maintains their position at #5, and the Trojans host the game of interest this weekend, vs. the #3 Thunderbirds.

Disclaimer: The rankings have no official say on post-season positioning, and are only to be used as a measuring stick on the regular season. Please don't read too much into the rankings.

As for the remaining classes, the rankings remain the same from the pre-season poll.

Games played last week were either exhibitions or scrimmages and the results don't count on a teams' record.
