The next prep rodeo event will be in Big Piney this weekend.

The Laramie High School Rodeo Club is hosting a fundraising dinner and auction on Friday, Feb. 21 at the Albany County Fairgrounds.

Laramie’s Colter Nunn has been a standout in Wyoming, but two weeks ago he reached an even greater height as world champion in light rifle shooting.

Laramie is home to a national champion light rifle shooter after Colter Nunn won the national title in Tennessee last week.
