Cheyenne East T-Birds

Tonight marks the conclusion of the regular season for the Laramie Plainsmen and Lady Plainsmen. It's the final home game of the season for both teams, as they take on Cheyenne Central.

The Laramie High School basketball teams are back on the road tonight, as they face-off against the East Thunderbirds in Cheyenne. It's the second to last game of the regular season for both squads. The girls'-boys' doubleheader will be at East High School.

Both Laramie High School basketball teams dropped to 0-4 in conference action after being swept in a girls'-boys' doubleheader at home last night by Cheyenne East.

It was the Tevis Bartlett show in Laramie at Deti Stadium Friday night. The junior quarterback for the 3rd-ranked Cheyenne East Thunderbirds accounted for 272 yards of total offense and scored 4 TD's, as East beat the Plainsmen 37-13 in Laramie's Homecoming game.

The Number One ranked Laramie Lady Plainsmen soccer team suffered their first loss of the season, while the second ranked Laramie Plainsmen captured their fifth consecutive victory Saturday in 4A East Conference action. The LHS girls lost to #4 East 3-2 in overtime, while the LHS boys got a 2-1 win over #5 East.

The Saturday 4A East Conference match-up between Laramie and Cheyenne East was a split. The second ranked Laramie boys ran their win streak to four straight games, as they downed the East Thunderbirds 74-54. Meanwhile, the #5 Laramie girls came up short in their upset bid of the #2 East Lady T-Birds, as they lost 50-40.

The Laramie High School volleyball team couldn't keep up with Cheyenne East on Tuesday night, losing 25-22, 24-26, 25-18, 25-20.

The Laramie Lady Plainsmen were swept at home by the Cheyenne East volleyball team, 25-19, 25-19, 25-15, on Tuesday night.
