
Suspect Identified In Fatal Crash Update
The man responsible for a high speed chase resulting in the death of an 18 year old male as been identified as 38 year old Scott Coleman of Casper. He is being being held in Casper on multiple charges.
Scott Coleman was scheduled to appear in court today and is being charged with driving while under the influence, vehicular homicide and felony property destruction.
Yesterday officials said Scott had reached speeds of 100mph or higher before slamming into a telephone pole, fire hydrant and the victim. The high speed accident ended with Coleman plowing through the Goodstein Building.
The victim's identity has not been released at this time. The young man was standing near an intersection when he was hit by the truck. He suffered severe injuries resulting in his death.
