One of the more remarkable stories in wrestling this year is Kevin Anderson of Kelly Walsh. He broke a bone in his hand at a tournament in California early in the season and was out of action for 8 weeks. When he returned, he was a monster. Anderson won the 4A state championship at 160 with a tough 6-4 win over Jackson Hesford of Cheyenne East. Henderson got what he needed in the 3rd period for the win and finished the year at 18-6. Hesford had an excellent junior season going 46-8.

Another monster on the mat was Luke Goncalves of Worland. He got right down to business and pinned Seth DeWitt of Wheatland in the first minute of the match. Goncalves repeated as the 3A 160 pound champion and was 40-4 on the year. DeWitt set the school record of takedowns in a season and wraps things up at 50-5.

The long line of Teichert wrestlers at Cokeville continued as Wes won the 2A championship with a pin over Hunter Garoutte of Moorcroft. It seems like every year that Teichert is winning something on the mat for the Panthers. The senior was 30-11 this season and Garoutte who is a junior went 31-18.
