Plainsmen Win on the Road in Sheridan, 73-67

Laramie started the second half of conference play on Friday night in Sheridan. A win would give Laramie some room between them and the rest of the field in the 4A east standings and the Plainsmen did just that, beating Sheridan 73-67.

The #2 Plainsmen (15-3) moved to 5-1 in conference play after their win over Sheridan.

Laramie trailed after the first quarter 15-12 but took the lead going into halftime 30-27. Laramie didn't give up the lead in the second half and beat the Broncos 73-67.  There were five lead changes in the game, all of which were in the first half. Tyler Loose had his fourth straight 20+ point game with 21 points. Sam Feldman followed with 20 points, Sam Hainline had 16 points and 16 rebounds and Dominick Villarreal had 11 points.

The Plainsmen go to #1 Gillette on Saturday February 9th with tip-off is set for 1:30 p.m. David Settle and VerDon Hoopes will call the action on KOWB. The broadcast will begin at 12:45 p.m.
