Laramie Walmart Remodel Begins, Expected To Finish In May

The Walmart Supercenter in Laramie is getting a face-lift, and new services to offer to customers. Store Manager Lindsay Christen says that she and the staff are excited about the new changes and the upgrades to the store that will make customer experience better in the long run.

The new remodel just began on February 18th, and Christen says that they're expecting the grand opening of their new look to be around May 10th. "We're trying to keep it all as clean and organized as possible" Christen said. "We've also got extra associates walking around to assist customers in finding things while it's ongoing."

Walmart will be receiving new floors in shiny concrete, as well as other store fixtures for shelving and to hold products and new registers. What Christen says they're most excited for, however, is the addition of a pick up tower, as well as online grocery shopping with same-day pick up.

While the remodel is ongoing, there will be no change to customer access and shopping.
