Both Laramie High School soccer teams picked up victories on the pitch Tuesday over Natrona. The Laramie Lady Plainsmen rallied for a 2-1 win over the Fillies in Casper, while the Plainsmen earned their second straight win with a 2-0 shutout of the Mustangs in Laramie.

Laramie (3-0) stayed undefeated in girls action with a comeback road win. Down 1-0 at Natrona, the Lady Plainsmen got goals from Ariel Romero, assisted by Lindsay Martinez, and Haley Moon in the 2-1 victory.

The Laramie Plainsmen (2-1-1) scored twice in the second half, with goals from Andrew Barnes and Sean O'Hagan, assisted by Blake Wright, in their 2-0 shutout of NC.

Plainsmen head coach Andy Pannell said, "We played well defensively. Goalkeeper Kolton Rapp had to touch the ball two times in the whole game, and so we really felt like we locked things down defensively."

In their fourth game in a 9-day period, after a loss and a scoreless tie, it was a good, team effort in another shutout victory.

As for the progress they've made,Pannell said, "Definitely a good week for us, this Spring Break and all that went into that. We've had a little period of maturity. I don't know how much you can really mature in a week, but we seemed to have done a little bit, and we seem to be heading in the right direction."

Both teams are off for the upcoming Easter holiday weekend. They return to action against Rock Springs next Tuesday, April 2nd.
