The Laramie Police Department is asking the public for help in the search for a missing man.

Travis Bybee, 38, was last seen in early June near the 1100 block of North McCue Street near the Timbers Apartments, according to the Laramie Police Department.

Law enforcement searched extensively for Bybee in nearby areas, but he was not located. Investigators say it appears he left his apartment without taking important belongings and medications and they are concerned for his welfare.

Laramie Police describe Bybee as a Native American man, five feet and five inches tall with an average build. He has black hair and brown eyes.

Steven Morgan, LPD PSAP administrator, said the Laramie PD has conducted an exhaustive investigation that included nationwide as well as local alerts. Morgan said the police now hope that someone in the public may be able to help with the investigation.

Law enforcement is encouraging anyone with information about Bybee to call LPD Detective Joshua Anderson at 307-721-3548 or Albany County Crimestoppers at 307-742-2273.
