The 29th annual Hapi-Ness 5K benefit run/walk hosted by Laramie Junior High School is Saturday.

Proceeds from the race will go to assist a Laramie family with major expenses due to severe medical conditions. This year’s recipient is Joanne Windham.

Registration for this year’s race is available at runnercard.com or at Laramie Junior High School. The cost is $15 or $20 depending on the type of t-shirt you want.

Race director Esther Hartsky stopped by ‘Laramie Live on KOWB’ recently and joined out our host David Settle. She told us about the preparations, benefits and all that goes into this annual event.
