Habitat For Humanity Taking Applications for “A Brush With Kindness”

The Albany County branch of Habitat For Humanity has announced that they are taking applications for A Brush With Kindness, an exterior home preservation service for low-income homeowners.

Habitat for Humanity released an event via facebook last week announcing the program.

According to the announcement, the Brush With Kindness helps people impacted by disability, age and family circumstances to with upkeep to their home's exteriors.

Habitat affiliates use volunteer labor and donated materials to keep costs low.  A no-interest loan is made to the homeowner to cover the cost of the project. Payments are placed in a revolving fund to help A Brush with Kindness serve others in need.
