Turkey Day, the fourth Thursday in November, for some people is known as Turkey Free Thanksgiving. I never heard Wyoming has a lot of turkey haters, but I had no idea there were so many of them on the world wide web every year about this time.

The Cowboy state does indeed have plenty of other forms of protein, possibly hunted by ourselves, so no problem there if you don’t like turkey. Many haters enjoy pasta, seafood, etc ...

Vegetarians and animal lovers probably think Turkey Free Thanksgiving is a great idea. In the Cowboy State, however, I wonder how many would not support a no turkey Thanksgiving just because animal rights people do.

Oh well, who's cooking? I'm carving.

And now not your everyday "Turkey Song."
