Comments Sought On Laramie Cable TV Renewal

The franchise agreement between the City of Laramie and the city’s current cable provider, Bresnan Communications, LLC is up for renewal later this year. Bresnan Communications, LLC is known locally as Charter Communications.

The proposed term of the new agreement is ten years with a possible five years additional option.

As the City Council discusses renewal with Charter, the public is asked to provide input through comments and suggestions to assist with terms and conditions of the new agreement.

Approval of the new franchise agreement is anticipated no later than November 2015.
