LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) — A Cody attorney and mediator has been named the newest member of the University of Wyoming Board of Trustees.

Brad Bonner was appointed by Gov. Mark Gordon and approved by the Wyoming Senate. He succeeds Dave Bostrom, of Worland, whose term has expired.

Bonner, who was born and raised in Powell, earned a bachelor's degree in journalism from UW in 1987 and a law degree from the UW in 1992. His father, Dave Bonner, also served on the board from 1989-2001.

Reappointed to the board were Chairman Dave True, of Casper; Wava Tully, of Lusk; and Macey Moore, of Douglas. Their terms, and that of Bonner, extend through 2025.

Also reappointed was Laura Schmid-Pizzato, of Rock Springs, whose term extends through 2023.
