Update: 9:17 a.m. Albany County School District Superintendent Dr. Jubal Yennie said that Stacy Bush announced her resignation in a statement she read to faculty yesterday afternoon. Yennie said Bush did not state the reason for her resignation.

Yennie said the top priority is making an effective transition and that the school district still has a lot of work to do.

Yennie said the school district will create a transition plan and will post the position in three to four weeks.

Laramie High School Principal Stacy Bush has resigned effective at the end of the academic year on June 30, sources have confirmed.

We have reached out to the superintendent for comment but have not yet received a reply. We will update this story as more information becomes available.
