Laramie High School Principal Stacy Bush released a statement this afternoon that she read to students and staff of Laramie High school on Jan. 1 announcing her resignation.

Yennie said the top priority is making an effective transition and that the school district still has a lot of work to do.

Laramie High School will welcome a new principal at the start of next school year. Stacy Bush will replace current principal Kim Sorenson, who is retiring at the end of the 2013-2014 school year.
