Wyoming Cowboys Upset No. 11/13 UNLV Runnin’ Rebels, 68-66
Four Cowboys scored in double figures and the University of Wyoming men’s basketball team held on in the final minute for a signature 68-66 win over No. 11/13 UNLV in front of more than 7,170 fans in the Arena-Auditorium on Saturday afternoon. UW claimed its first win over a ranked foe since 2000 with another stout defensive effort and a balanced scoring attack to lead the Rebels the majority of the contest.

Number of Drug Seizures By Troopers Continues to Climb
Two routine traffic stops made by the Wyoming Highway Patrol today resulted in arrests and possible felony charges. Both instances involved the seizure of marijuana and took place on Interstate 80 in the western part of the state.

Passenger Dies in Single Vehicle Crash
The crash occurred at 7:47 p.m. yesterday one mile north of Cheyenne on the I-25 service road. Traveling northbound at an excessive rate of speed, the Ford Explorer drifted into the southbound lane.

Governor Matt Mead announced today that he wants all state agencies to be consistent in the use of at-will classification for employees. Currently state employees are either at-will or permanent. The permanent position jobs have a one-year probationary period and then any termination must be justified.

Judge Declares Mistrial in Roger Clemens Perjury Trial
Roger Clemens' perjury trial was declared a mistrial Thursday by the judge sitting on the case.
According to the New York Times, Judge Reggie Walton said the prosecution "revealed information that he previously deemed inadmissible."

Chris Bray and his father attended the first space shuttle launch back in 1981 -- and the last, just a few weeks ago. Bray posted a link to the photo on Reddit on Monday and the reaction was immediate -- almost 600 comments have been left thus far, and various media outlets have picked up the story.
