Dry conditions and gusty winds already make the fire danger higher than many other regions, but throw in the fuel of beetle killed trees and it certainly seems as though southeast Wyoming is ripe for fires to sweep across the land.
Laramie Man Dies After Accident at State Liquor Warehouse
Steven J. Mullen, from Laramie, died Wednesday after apparently falling into a fan unit at the State of Wyoming Liquor Warehouse according to Laramie County Coroner Martin Luna. Mullen was 57 years old.

Was the Construction at 30th & Grand Worth it? – Survey of the Day
Road construction projects are hardly ever convenient, but some projects definitely go better than others. The project on the intersection of 30th St and Grand Avenue was able to finish up eight days early, but it still forced drivers to detour away from a major part of Laramie for two months.
Governor Mead to Speak at Laramie Jubilee Days on Wyoming Statehood Day
Wyoming Governor Matt Mead will be making an appearance at Wyoming’s Hometown Celebration this year at Laramie Jubilee Days Wyoming Statehood Celebration. The event will take place at the Wyoming Territorial Prison on July 10th which is Wyoming Statehood Day.
