Wyoming Governor Matt Mead will be making an appearance at Wyoming’s Hometown Celebration this year at Laramie Jubilee Days Wyoming Statehood Celebration. The event will take place at the Wyoming Territorial Prison on July 10th which is Wyoming Statehood Day.

Along with a speech by Mead, Pete and Lynn Simpson will address the crowd, the Unexpected Company will perform skits and Dave Walsh, the Voice of the Wyoming Cowboys, will interview historical characters at the Main Stage. In other areas of the Wyoming Territorial Prison there will be live music, displays on the history of banking, agriculture and railroads in Laramie, and a logging exhibition. There will also be face painting, horseshoes and bingo. Sounds like a pretty fun way to celebrate Wyoming!

The Wyoming Statehood Celebration presented by Laramie Jubilee Days is being sponsored by the Wyoming Territorial Park, First Interstate Bank, Kids Extreme Event, Dooley Oil Company and the Wyoming Territorial Park Historical Association.
