The Thunderbirds competed in 4 duals in pool A, going 2-2.

Battle in the Big Horns at Worland HS in Worland, WY

WY teams: Buffalo, Glenrock, Lander, Lovell, Newcastle/Upton, Pinedale, Powell, Star Valley, Thermopolis, Wind River, Worland

Out of State teams: Douglas, SD

Star Valley won the gold bracket over Pinedale, 39-33. Douglas, SD took first in the silver bracket, beating Buffalo 46-36. 

Bridgeport-Sidney Invite at Bridgeport HS in Bridgeport, NE - Wheatland

Wheatland finished 11 out of 15 teams with 71.5 team points. Jake Hicks finished 2nd at 152 and scored 21.5 team points. 

Hot Springs Holiday Extravaganza at Case Auditorium/Bison Center in Hot Springs, SD - Lingle-Fort Laramie/Southeast

Lingle-Fort Laramie/Southeast finished 6 out of 17 teams with 131 points, they had two 2nd and 3rd place finishes; Kaleb Brothwell scored the most team points with 24 at 132 lbs.

Huntley Project Duals in Worden, MT - Greybull/Riverside

By the last report, Greybull/Riverside was in the bottom bracket (9-16) but in the championship dual. 

Jimmy John's NCCT at Butler-Hancock Arena in Greeley, CO

WY teams competing: Cheyenne Central, Cheyenne South, Kelly Walsh, Laramie

Out of the 67 teams that competed, Cheyenne South finished last, Laramie finished 49th, Kelly Walsh 43rd, and Cheyenne Central 28th.

WY teams: Campbell County, Douglas, Natrona County, Powell, Rock Springs, Sheridan, Thunder Basin

Out of State teams: Bismarck Century, ND, Butte, MT, Rapid City Central, SD, Scottsbluff, NE, Sidney/Fairview, MT

Reno Tournament of Champions at Reno Events Center in Reno, NV - Green River

Viewmont Invite at Viewmont HS in Bountiful, UT - Evanston

The Red Devils finished 8th out of 17 teams with 108 points. Ryder Wilson placed 2nd at 113 and scored 21.5 team points. 

West Grand Invite at West Grand High School in Kremmling, CO

WY teams competing: H.E.M., Saratoga

12 teams competed, Saratoga finished 3rd and H.E.M finished 10th. Saratoga had multiple wrestlers place in the top in their weight classes, with two 1st place finishes by Brian Smith at 113 and Quade Jordan at 220.
