Wyoming High School Skiing Schedule and Results: Feb. 11-13, 2021
The final races of the regular season for cross country skiers are this weekend. Meanwhile, the schedule has changed for the downhill skiers.
Nordic Skiing - UPDATED
12:10 p.m. (2-22-21) - The Cody Invite has been postponed to next weekend due to the bitterly cold temperatures.

For the third time this season, the schools split for meets at two different venues.
The Pinedale High School Nordic Ski Meet will be held at White Pine Nordic Center.
The Wranglers are hosting Jackson and Lander for this event.
Friday is a 5 km classic race that starts at noon. Saturday features a 10 km skate or freestyle race. The start time is also at noon.
Pinedale Friday Classic Results
Jackson's Hailey Stines edged out Lander's Kaylynn Sandall by 0.53 seconds to win the girls' race. Jackson's Mason Wheeler won the boys' race by a little more than 20 seconds.
Pinedale Saturday Freestyle Results
Jackson's Elsie Hall won the freestyle race by nearly 40 seconds. Lander's Kaleb Simonson captured the boys' division by just over 22 seconds.
The Cody High School Invitational will take place on Friday, Feb. 19, and Saturday, Feb. 20, at Pahaska Teepee, west of Cody. It was postponed, as of Feb. 11, 2021.
The Cody/Sheridan team will host Kelly Walsh, Laramie, and Natrona County for racing.
Friday’s event is a 10 km skate or freestyle race. The varsity boys start at 1 p.m., followed by the varsity girls. Saturday’s schedule features a 5 km classic race. The girls will take to the trails first and start at 10 a.m., while the boys will follow.
Alpine Skiing
The downhill skiers have had their schedule change. This weekend’s racing at Hogadon Basin Ski Area on Casper Mountain has been postponed to Feb. 25 and 26. Thus, alpine skiers are off this weekend for the second straight week. The next event will be the Pinedale Invite at White Pine Ski Area on Feb. 19 and 20.
