Two weeks remain in the prep outdoor track season before the regional track meets.

This is the seventh week of the track season.

After a postponed invite was moved to Monday, the rest of the schedule has track meets on Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday. Buffalo, Casper, Cowley, Gillette, Kemmerer, Laramie, Lusk, Pinedale, Riverton, Sheridan, and Wright are hosting events.

Teams are also competing in Colorado, Idaho, Nebraska, South Dakota, and Utah.

MONDAY, APRIL 25:

Kemmerer HS Track Invite at Kemmerer HS – Kemmerer, Lyman, Mountain View, Pinedale

The Kemmerer girls and Pinedale boys won the team titles.

TUESDAY, APRIL 26:

Gary Benson Border War 2022 at Sheridan HS – Billings (MT) Senior, Billings (MT) West, Campbell County, Cody, Kelly Walsh, Natrona County, Powell, Sheridan, Skyview (Billings, MT), Thunder Basin

Team scores were not listed.

Girls Individuals: Sheridan's Addie Pendergast won the 200 & 400 meters. Thunder Basin's Gabby Mendoza won both hurdle races. The TBHS girls won 3 of the 4 relays. Natrona's Alesha Lane swept the throwing events.

Boys Individuals: Sheridan's Carter McComb won the 100 & 200 meters and was the only double event winner.

Laramie Invitational at Laramie HS – Cheyenne South, Laramie, Rock River

Girls Individuals: Alex Lewis of Laramie swept the throws and was the lone double event winner.

Boys Individuals: Jakub Randles of South swept the 3 sprints. Laramie's Max Alexander won the hurdle races.

Laramie rolled to the team titles.

Wyoming Indian Twilight at Wyoming Indian HS in Ethete, WY – canceled

Out-of-State events:

Best in the West Classic in Scottsbluff, NE – Burns, Guernsey-Sunrise, Lingle-Ft. Laramie, Lusk, Pine Bluffs, Southeast, Torrington

Torrington girls placed 2nd and the boys 4th.

Girls Individuals: Tyne Stokes from Torrington won the 400 meters. Southeast's Shelby Ekwall won the shot put. Southeast's Jordan Stoddard won the high jump & long jump. Torrington's Mattilyn Jones won the pole vault and her teammate, Allison Brummell won the triple jump.

Boys Individuals: Torrington's Brendan Flock won the 100. Ryan Clapper from Southeast captured the 200. Ayden Loya of Torrington finished 1st in the 800. Lingle's Myles Wilson won the 3200 meters. Lingle won the 4x400 relay. 

Northern Hills Invitational in Belle Fourche, SD – Hulett, Moorcroft, Sundance

Girls Individual: Kaylee Terry of Moorcroft won the 400 meters. Bailey Hofland of Sundance captured the discus.

Boys Individuals: Hulett's Bryce Ackerman won the discus. 

THURSDAY, APRIL 28:

Buffalo Twilight at Buffalo HS – Arvada-Clearmont, Big Horn, Buffalo, Cody, Newcastle, Ten Sleep, Thermopolis, Tongue River

The Buffalo girls and Tongue River boys won the team crowns.

Girls Individuals: Buffalo's Charley Mauck swept the throwing events on her home track. She was the lone double event winner.

Boys Individuals: Tongue River's Garrett Ostler won the 200 meters & long jump. He was the only double event winner on the boys' side.

Kelly Walsh Invitational at Kelly Walsh HS in Casper – Campbell County, Douglas, Dubois, Green River, Kelly Walsh, Wheatland

The KW girls (by nearly 100 pts) and Douglas boys (by 2 pts) won the team titles.

Girls Individual: Isabelle Murdock from Green River won the 400 & 1600 meters. Wheatland's Lily Nichols won the 800 meters & long jump. KW's Elayna Chafee won the 200 meters & triple jump. Her teammate Makenna Clemens swept the throwing events.

Boys Individuals: Keltan Ewing from Douglas captured the 100 meters, 300 hurdles, & pole vault. KW's Cam Burkett won the two throwing events. Teammate Nathan Costalez won the 200 meters & long jump.

 FRIDAY, APRIL 29:

Basin Nation Invitational at Thunder Basin HS in Gillette - canceled due to the weather.

Mountain Man Invitational at Pinedale HS – Big Piney, Cokeville, Evanston, Farson-Eden, Green River, H.E.M., Jackson, Kemmerer, Lyman, Mountain View, Pinedale, Star Valley

The Pinedale girls won on their home track, and the Star Valley boys won the other team title.

Girls Individuals: Pinedale's Madison Antonino won the 1600 & 3200 meters. Her teammate Katy Dexter won both throwing events. 

Boys Individuals: Big Piney's Colby Jenks won the 1600 meters & 300 hurdles. Kemmerer's Tommy Skidmore won the 400 meters & high jump. 

Scott Hardy Memorial Track Meet at Wright HS – Guernsey-Sunrise, H.E.M., Hulett, Kaycee, Midwest, Lusk, Moorcroft, Rock River, Sundance, Upton, Wright

The Upton girls and Wright boys took 1st place in the team standings.

Girls Individuals: Kaycee's Karcee Maya won the 200 meters, 100 & 300 hurdle races. Her teammate Bindi Hill took 1st in the 400 meters & high jump. Upton's Maddie Mills won the 800 meters & triple jump. 

Boys Individuals: Upton's Luca Brooks won 4 events - 100 & 200 meters, plus the long jump & triple jump. Keaton Mills of Sundance won the 800 meters & high jump.

T-Town Qualifier at Torrington HS - hosted by Southeast – Burns, Glenrock, Lingle-Ft.Laramie, Lusk, Pine Bluffs, Southeast, Torrington

The Glenrock girls and Torrington boys (by 0.50 points) won the team titles.

Girls Individuals: Glenrock's Isabella Taylor won the 100 & 200 meters and the long jump.

Boys Individuals: Torrington's Ayden Loya won the 800 and 1600 meters.

Out-of-State events:

Clint Wells Invitational at Hayden HS in Hayden, CO – Little Snake River

Limited results didn't include the Rattlers

Liberty Bell Track and Field Invitational in Littleton, CO – Cheyenne Central, Laramie

Central girls took 4th.

Laramie's Addison Forry won the 400 meters. Central's Madisyn Baillie won the high jump. Central boys won the 4x800 relay.

Longmont Invitational in Longmont, CO – Cheyenne East, Southeast

2022 Tiger/Grizz Invitational in Pocatello, ID – Jackson, Star Valley

The Star Valley girls finished 8th, while Jackson was T-22nd. The SV boys took 15th, while Jackson T-20th.

Girls = Sara McKen was 2nd in the 200. Valerie Jirak was 2nd in the high jump. Jackson's Kate Brigham took 2nd in the 1600 meters. 

Boys = Cooper Lawson won the Freshman shot put. Jackson's Jack Joyce was 2nd in the Freshman 00 meters.

SATURDAY, APRIL 30:

Dennis Zowada Track Invitational in Lusk - canceled

Rocky Mountain HS Invite in Cowley – Burlington, Greybull, Lovell, Meeteetse, Powell, Riverside, Rocky Mountain

Team scores were not listed.

Girls Individuals: Riverside's Vaidyn Vanderploeg swept the 2 short sprints.

Boys Individuals: Clayton Edwards from Burlington swept the 2 short sprints. Powell's Daniel Merritt won the 2 long-distance races. Quinn Lindsay of Lovell won both throwing events.

Roy Peck Invitational at Riverton HS – Big Piney, Dubois, Encampment, Ft. Washakie, Kaycee, Kemmerer, Lander, Natrona County, Rawlins, Riverton, Rock Springs, Saratoga, Shoshoni, St. Stephens, Western Heritage Lutheran Academy, Wind River, Worland, Wyoming Indian

The Natrona County girls and Worland boys won the team titles.

Girls Individuals: Ella Spear of NC swept the 100 & 200 meters. Her teammate Alesha Lane swept the throwing events. Rawlins' Ryann Smith won the 800 & 3200 meters. Her teammate Eva Nitschke won the 400 meters & 100 hurdles.

Boys Individuals: On his home track, Riverton's Tristan Watkins won the 100 & 200 meters. Big Piney's Colby Jenks captured the 400 meters & 110 hurdles. 

Out-of-State events:

Liberty Bell Track and Field Invitational in Littleton, CO – Cheyenne Central, Laramie - see results above.

2022 Davis Invitational at Kaysville, UT – Evanston, Mountain View

Evanston's Kai Barker won the high jump at 6-7. Payton Vernon won the shot put at 56-03.

Mountain View's Katie Giorgis won the open division 300 hurdles.
